New Chapter
This quarter is the fourth quarter of my fourth year in the Ilocos Sur National High School; in short, this is the last quarter of my Pisay journey. Because of that, I made it a point that I would maximize all the time I have left in this school. I studied very hard for every subject, and take into my heart all the lessons I have learned this last quarter in my highschool. This year overall has been a wonderful learning experience. I would have to say that throughout all of my year in school, I have learned the most math this school year. Even though we had a huge amount of new math topics to learn, it was a fun experience to be able to understand some of my advises homework. For 10th grade, I think the most important aspect to share with them is that I won't work hard unless they tell me to.
I would probably need to share to my teacher that I won't say if I'm not being challenged, I will just go along with whatever they give me. I believe this is an important thing to present because I could go throughout the year not learning anything, but not speak up about it. have had many successes this year, but one that really struck out would have to be completing all of my topics for the year and being able to stop Accelerated Math while others kept having to do it. I am struggling with keeping on top of all my work.
Last but not the least, I realized this quarter that since my high school life will end very soon, I should be able to develop my own learning ways to be able to survive and to maximize my future stay in the university where I will study college. I realized that if I would be able to pinpoint the specific ways in which I learn most effectively, I could develop these ways and be able to use them so that I would be able to learn all the lessons essential to my chosen field of study.
I should not also forget to mention that hard work, responsibility, suffering, stress and feelings of hopelessness are normal to students like me. I learned, that success and victory cannot be achieved without fighting the battle. But I also learned that before I go to the battlefield, I should be armed with faith, hope and strength drawn from God.
I may spent my whole school year complaining because of the tasks I should work on but look! I will be having my completion in a couple of weeks. After four roller coater ride years of Junior High School, we will now step closer to a new beginning, the Senior High School Life
