            Dear President Duterte,

            How are you Sir? Hope you are healthy and well. We thought you were different from previous leaders. Your plans for the country are promising. We hope the Philippines will be a better place to live with you as a leader.

            When the COVID-19 pandemic began to invade our country, we hope you will be the top of everything. But as we watch you talk to your countrymen according to the situation, our hearts are depressed. We hope you do better. But we still believe and rely on you because it must be very difficult, especially at your age, to rule a country of over seven thousand islands and over one hundred million people. I understand that the weather is very difficult, not only for our country but also for the whole world. 

              We believe in you. We still do. And we will continue to believe and respect you; even many times, we do not agree with you. We will pray for you, that you may have wisdom as you decide. We will pray that you will lead in righteousness and justice. We pray for a changed passion for the country. We pray for the grace to wake up every day, we know you have been given the privilege to make a huge impact on the country you lead. We also wish you perfect health.

               President Duterte, many people think and speak badly of you. I understand them because people hurt. People are suffering. But to speak ill of you, even if you have broken our hearts many times, because I know you love us all and you want what is good for us and it is also for our salvation in this pandemic.

               Thank you for your time in reading this letter. We wish that you read this letter with an open mind and heart. I hope that you allows us to help in our studies. We would appreciate the opportunity like this to help us with you and member of your administration. God bless and Good health.
